Originally from Cornwall, our new community manager Holly moved to Bath for university, fell in love with the city, and hasn't looked back since! We caught up with her for a quick Q&A to learn more about what she's into, her love for the city, and what she’s most excited about in her new role at our coworking space.
What's your favourite part of your job so far at lifework?
I love getting to know each community member and finding ways to show how important they are. Whether that be stocking their favourite type of tea, following up on a conversation from last week, or recommending places in the local area I know they'd enjoy, I love having the opportunity to make each member feel special.
What are you looking forward to at lifework in the 2nd half of 2024?
Arranging more community events! I love the festive season and the spirit of connection it brings, so I'm planning some activities to encourage our community to connect more during this time.
What's your lifework balance?
Anything creative! I'm an avid reader and film watcher, but I also love to bake, journal, play on my Nintendo Switch or go for long walks whilst listening to my favourite film soundtracks.
What are your Bath insider tips?
The Raven in the city centre is my go-to pub. They serve the most amazing homemade pies and local ciders. It's also four floors, including a library floor!
What are you watching / listening to right now?
I'm currently watching Doctor Who for the first time in over a decade and completing my annual listen to the Harry Potter audiobooks read by Stephen Fry. Right now, I'm on Goblet of Fire!
